You probably heard of some WG stuff changes.  The most noticeable one is - Murazor is now a Balance Department Lead.  Who is he and how it may impact the WoT?  Well, I may not be too far from the target if I say - he was a gamer, a tester, a popular youtuber who criticized WG a lot for various reasons.  Now that he is a WG employee - he has an opportunity to "fix" it all :)  In any case, game-balance is one of the key things to keep the game interesting.  For example, nobody liked terrible premium tanks.

As for Murazor's own play-style - he is a fan of German heavy and medium lines, he hates arty and doesn't really like TDs.  So... may be it's a good idea to start working on German lines right now.  I don't play arty and it was promised to be nerfed a while ago.  But to be honest I now worry about TDs a bit.

Did germans have special helmets for a tank crew?  Well, yes.  The guy on the right is wearing a tank helmet.  But as you can see it's hard to add the headphones to such helmet (not mentioning the helmet itself looking... ugly), so germans ended up wearing a headset on top of a standard garrison hat, like the one you see on the guy on the left side of the picture.

The guy in the middle is a soviet tankman wearing iconic soviet tank helmet.  Why those guys are together on the same photo?   It's September 22, 1939.  Nazys and Commies are best friends.  They just had split Poland and have a parade together in Brest - at the new Germany-USSR "border".  Don't forget about this page of the history.

...and one more.

I noticed that if I play about the lunch time - MM brings me to tier 3-6 games.  But late afternoon and evening - hello tier 7th.  And I'm useless at those games.

LOL

Another Master on t67.  And a bunch of other medals.  Including the "100 years" one and a set of "stickers" for any tanks.

BTW, I almost brought my winrate back to 51%.

I did it!  Master on T-67.  Well, to be honest, it was an easy battle.  The enemy team was not doing good at all.  Battle results screen is under cut.  Yea, I could survive and maybe even make 6 frags - but I seen that we're winning 'cause I returned to our base just in time to kill one enemy tank and damage the other one knocking down his "capture" points.  I just kept shooting at KV-1 while our guys were about to capture the enemy base, so I kinda didn't care any more and didn't bother to hide.  Pure luck - some of my shells did not penetrate him and he killed me :)  But we won.

Today the new mode "Convoy" is finally available.  I haven't played it yet, not a big fan of WoT machine guns :)

But!  Today  I received a new rental - Dicker Max.  It's a German TD tier 6, which is always available for gold-purchase (ingame too, not just at the store).  I just tried it for the 1st time.  It's weird, I like it.  It's slow, so I need to be extra careful.  It's not as "invisible" as my T-67 is.  But the gun is sweet - it's accurate and powerful.  Reloading is somewhat slow, but if I'm far enough - I still have time for the 2nd shot (and 2 shots are enough to kill a Cromwell for example.   Aargh, hate those road-runners).  So maybe I will not be disappointed with Nashorn as much as I am with the tier 5 German TD.  Hope so.

I tried playing that German tier 5 TD.

3 games = 3 defeats, under 100 xp for each one and I was killed pretty fast :)

So I went back to my T-67 and started doing those individual battle missions.   Not bad, I have 3 or 4 to complete the TD "quest".  Sometimes I was done with my mission even if the team looses the battle.  So that was like a little candy to keep me happy :)

Not sure which light tank would be better for LT missions, my Crusader is not a "pure" LT.  Probably I should go for AMX ELC.
World of Tanks has been crazily popular in ex-USSR countries all this time.  They created their own slang, and some nicknames for tanks or any other game-related stuff are so funny I keep laughing at for a while.

Fadin's medal sounds like "medal' Fadina" (stressing fA).  In case you've forgot - that's the one for killing the last enemy with your last shell.  The word "greedy" (not a bad word, just the one kids would use to call you for not sharing something) sounds close, you just need to change the 1st letter - zhAdina.  So...  Medal Zhadina.  Cute, isn't it? :)

Ok, I opened tier 5 German TD, so Marder is "elite" now. Funny.  When you're getting close to 100% crew, open all upgrades and start "feeling" and enjoying your tank - it's time to unlock the next one.  And what should you do with your crew?  Should you keep using your old tank or retrain your crew to the new one - and lose 10% of crew's xp...  unless you retrain for gold.  Doesn't make much sense to retrain for silver, does it?  Oh well... Guess I'll just keep playing Marder for now.  At least till my crew is 100% and about 40% on the 1st skill.  Then if I retrain them - they will be 100% (and no skill).

Any way, today I completed the 2nd "tier" of the mission - first I needed to collect some XP (30k IIRC), then make 50 kills - and I received a free garage slot.  Not bad.  It also unlocked "tier 3" missions, which will start on September 19.

This post is for those of you who don't want to spend any real money on WoT.  So far I only bought one prem for real money - the tier 4 Pz B2 (10$).  I don't buy premium account as I'm not in a big hurry.  But I bought several garage slots (it'e inevitable) and spent some gold on converting free experience and dismounting complex equipment (oh well).

How did I get a little bit of gold for that, without spending  any real money?  There is a website, called coinsup.  So far I have no major complaints about it.  They do not ask for your WoT account data, but send you a confirmation code via sms.  Should you give them your real phone number? Heck no.  Be smart and find other options on the web (free ones of course).  Should you give them your main FB page authorization info?  Heck no, have a backup one.  Same about your e-mail address.  Now, not all their links are "clean", but I assume you have an antivirus on your pc to block any unwanted crap.  I only do their supersonic ads and quiz games, plus online games I do not need to download (FB of browser games).   That takes me like 10 minutes a day, so roughly I can receive 250 gold per 3 weeks.  That's enough for a garage slot or some minor stuff once in a while.  If you have some spare time - it could be an option for you too.   Have fun!

Sounds like most of the mods will not be needed any more.  I was using damage log, 2 rows of tanks in my garage, XVM and some minor stuff.   All of it but XVM will be added to the game itself  in a month or so.  Thank you devs!

Plus if they really fix the "invisibility" issue - that should make the game better for sure.

I don't care about the new premium tank, a "new" map" etc (read more).  Adding more stuff to the game is ok, but fixing the existing issues is much better.
Is it worth it?  My opinion - no.  The tank is a meh (pretty much the same as a "regular" T-44, which is ok but just ok), the time you'd for this marathon is too much.

150k and 150 frags per each nation - roughly you'd need to make 40 frags and 40.000 xp every day for a month.  Maybe it's a piece of cake for  some high-skilled guys, but not for me, with my tier 5th mostly.  Lets see: I can make 1-3 frags per game, so that's not a problem.  Each game lasts about 7 minutes, so even if I get 1k xp per game  (which I don't, 500 is my optimistic average on TDs not mentioning other tanks), I'd still need to spend 4,5 hours playing - DAILY!  Also I don't have any tier 4+ for France, Japan and China, so add more time and effort for those.  No, thanks!
