Settings for this blog's layout:

"Simple" template, width 1060, sidebar 300 (this way it matches the picture "X-large" width).  For some reason the picture for header has to be slightly smaller, other way the template cuts off the right side.  My current header is 1020x270.   I also had to change the font size, 'cause the default one is unreadable-small.

Blogger uploads all images  to Picasa website.  You can  log in with your google account and delete them from there if you need to.

Videos:

I'm testing various settings on Bandicam and Avidemux. Here is what I used for my first video:

Bandicam is great, but the videos come out huge.  I don't need anything fancy, just a simple free software to make them smaller, so I use Avidemux.  Here are several options (settings) for Avidemux to keep in mind:

- "Economy format":
video: MPEG4-AVC
audio: MP3 (lame)
format: AVI

- DVD:

video: MPEG2(mpeg2-video)
audio: AC3 (lav)
format: MPEG-PS (A+V)

- DV (for some video-editors):
video: DV
audio: PCM
format: AVI

- Looseless video:
video: Huffyuy
audio: any
format: AVI
